Mission Statement:

Pioneer is fully chartered by Babe Ruth League, Inc. and offers baseball to youth ages 4-15, and is located in the Virginia Babe Ruth District VII. Pioneer, using regulation competitive baseball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play.  Pioneer is committed to providing our players the very best educational, sports experience possible.  It is our fundamental belief that every child with a desire to play baseball be afforded that opportunity.

Pioneer Baseball Divisions:

Pioneer offers baseball to boys/girls ages 4-15 years old.  The Cal Ripken Divisions include Tee Ball (5-6 yr olds), Rookies/Machine Pitch (7-8 yr olds), Minors NL/Intro Kid Pitch (Target age 8), Minors AL (9-10 yr old kid pitch), Majors 70' (11-12 yr old kid pitch), and Babe Ruth 90' Divsion (13-15 yr old).

Pioneer Baseball Seasons:

Pioneer has both a Spring and Fall Season...

Registration for Spring typically runs from Nov-Feb annually online with teams forming and practices commencing as soon as scheduled.  Games for this season typically run from early-April to mid-June.

Registration for the Fall typically runs from June-Aug annually online, with teams forming and practices commencing as soon as scheduled.  Games typically start the weekend after Labor Day and end the first weekend of Nov.
