2020 Spring Tee Ball Registration

Tee Ball

Ballplayers ages 4-5 learn hitting and fielding fundamentals in a supportive team environment for first time players.  Young athletes hit the ball from a batting tee which is height-adjusted for a level swing, batting in order through the line-up for the entire game.  The primary goal is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of base running, throwing, hitting, and caching baseball in a supportive, fun and safe team environment. Having fun is stressed as much as learning the fundamentals, with a hope that players’ abilities progress throughout the season.  The end-goal is to expose players to coach thrown pitches by the end of the season. Tee ball is the perfect starting level for your player, especially if this is their first attempt at baseball or organized sport activity.

Target team size: 9 to 10. Games: Each player bats and plays the field every inning of 3-inning games, played every Saturday. Game Times: Approximately 1 hour each. Practice: One weeknight per week.

2020 Spring Coach Pitch Registration

Coach Pitch (Formerly Tee Ball)

Coach Pitch is geared towards players, generally ages 5 and 6, who have completed at least one season of Tee Ball. Players at the Coach Pitch level should be prepared for coach thrown pitches at the start of the season. Sportsmanship and fun are stressed while simultaneously introducing players to more rules of the game. No score is kept during games but players are introduced to “outs” both while playing defense and batting. More in-depth fundamentals of base running, throwing, hitting, and catching/fielding are taught in a fun and safe environment.

Target team size: 10. Games: Each player bats and plays the field every inning of 3-inning games, played every Saturday. Game Times: Approximately 1 hour each.  Practice: One weeknight per week.
